Day-by-Day Itinerary
DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN MELBOURNE
Arrive in Melbourne and transfer privately to your hotel. With the rest of the day at leisure, explore the city's famous laneways, boutiques, and café culture at your own pace. Overnight in Melbourne.
DAY 2 MELBOURNE CITY TOURING
A full day discovering Melbourne. Explore the Royal Botanic Gardens, take in city views from a rooftop lookout, and wander through the Queen Victoria Market and arts precinct of Federation Square. Overnight in Melbourne.
DAY 3 GREAT OCEAN ROAD
A full day exploring one of the world's most scenic coastal drives. Wind along dramatic cliffside roads to see the Twelve Apostles limestone stacks rising from the Southern Ocean, with stops at lookouts including Loch Ard Gorge and Gibson Steps along the way. Return to Melbourne in the evening. Overnight in Melbourne.
DAY 4 FLY TO ULURU
Transfer privately to the airport for your flight to Uluru, in the heart of Australia's Red Centre. On arrival, transfer to your resort, then head out in the late afternoon to a dedicated viewing area to watch Uluru change colour as the sun sets. Overnight at Uluru.
DAY 5 ULURU SUNRISE & BASE WALK
Rise early for a spectacular sunrise over Uluru, then join a guided walk around its base with an experienced guide, learning about the rock's geology, Anangu culture, and the significance of its waterholes, caves, and rock art. Overnight at Uluru.
DAY 6 KATA TJUTA (THE OLGAS)
Head to Kata Tjuta, a striking group of 36 domed rock formations rising from the desert around 40 kilometres from Uluru. Join a guided walk into Walpa Gorge, a naturally cool corridor between two of the tallest domes, before returning to the resort. Overnight at Uluru.
DAY 7 FLY TO CAIRNS
Transfer privately to the airport for your flight to Cairns, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Tropical North Queensland. On arrival, transfer to your hotel with the balance of the day free to enjoy the Cairns Esplanade or lagoon. Overnight in Cairns.
DAY 8 GREAT BARRIER REEF CRUISE
A full-day cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed natural wonder. Snorkel or dive above vibrant coral gardens, take a glass-bottom boat or semi-submersible tour, and enjoy lunch on board as you cruise between reef sites. Overnight in Cairns.
DAY 9 KURANDA & DAINTREE RAINFOREST
Journey into the Daintree, the world's oldest tropical rainforest, and the historic mountain village of Kuranda. Highlights typically include a scenic rainforest rail or Skyrail cableway journey, time to explore Kuranda's markets and galleries, and a look at the region's unique wildlife. Overnight in Cairns.
DAY 10 FLY TO SYDNEY
Transfer privately to the airport for your flight to Sydney. On arrival, transfer to your hotel with time to explore Circular Quay and catch your first views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Overnight in Sydney.
DAY 11 SYDNEY HIGHLIGHTS
A full day discovering Sydney's icons. Visit the Sydney Opera House precinct, walk through the Royal Botanic Garden, and take in the harbour views from Mrs Macquarie's Chair. Continue to The Rocks for its colonial-era laneways, then on to Bondi or Darling Harbour in the afternoon. Overnight in Sydney.
DAY 12 BLUE MOUNTAINS / FREE DAY
Head inland to the Blue Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed wilderness just over an hour from the city. See the Three Sisters rock formation from Echo Point and ride the Scenic Skyway or Scenic Railway through the rainforest canopy, or opt to spend the day at leisure in Sydney instead. Overnight in Sydney.
DAY 13 DEPARTURE
At leisure until your private transfer to Sydney Airport for your onward or homebound flight. End of services.
