Trip Overview

This six-day journey combines Brisbane's riverside city life, the beaches and skyline of the Gold Coast, and the natural wonders of Tropical North Queensland. From city parklands to reef cruising and rainforest villages, this itinerary is designed as a flexible framework that can be tailored to your pace and interests.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

DAY 1  ARRIVE BRISBANE

Arrive in Brisbane and transfer privately to your hotel. With the rest of the day at leisure, take a stroll along the South Bank Parklands, relax by the Streets Beach lagoon, or wander through the City Botanic Gardens on the edge of the CBD. Overnight in Brisbane.

DAY 2  GOLD COAST DAY TRIP

Head south to the Gold Coast for a day of sun, surf, and skyline. Take in the view from the SkyPoint Observation Deck atop Q1, stroll the beachfront at Surfers Paradise, and enjoy time at Burleigh Heads or another of the coast's laid-back beach towns. Return to Brisbane by evening, or overnight on the Gold Coast if preferred.

DAY 3  FLY TO CAIRNS

Transfer privately to the airport for your flight to Cairns, gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Tropical North Queensland. On arrival, transfer to your hotel with the balance of the day free to enjoy the Cairns Esplanade or lagoon. Overnight in Cairns.

DAY 4  GREAT BARRIER REEF CRUISE

A full-day cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed natural wonder. Snorkel or dive above vibrant coral gardens, take a glass-bottom boat or semi-submersible tour, and enjoy lunch on board as you cruise between reef sites. Return to Cairns by late afternoon. Overnight in Cairns.

DAY 5  KURANDA VILLAGE

Journey into the rainforest to the historic mountain village of Kuranda. Highlights typically include a scenic rainforest rail or Skyrail cableway journey through the canopy, time to browse Kuranda's markets and galleries, and a look at the region's unique wildlife. Return to Cairns in the afternoon. Overnight in Cairns.

DAY 6  DEPARTURE

At leisure until your private transfer to Cairns Airport for your onward or homebound flight. End of services.
